Day 2 – November 28, 2023 (Tuesday) – Virtual
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION, ELECTRICAL SAFETY, CAREERS IN THE MARITIME INDUSTRY
Delve into the future of the profession with visions of moving forward amidst the challenges that the academic sector is facing in this changing times.
Know the basics of safety as part of the IIEE’s major advocacy and primary concern of the EE profession.
Have an opportunity to know what are the careers in store for your in the maritime industry.
Day 3 – November 29, 2023 (Wednesday) – Virtual
EE RESEARCH CONTEST, EE RESEARCH COLLOQIUM, TECHNOLOGY CARAVAN, PLANT TOUR
Be up-to-date in the latest technological innovation and researches developed by electrical practitioners.
Industry experts will present latest technologies, products, services and best practices that can be used by the electrical practitioners in his/her workplace. Be inspired with the latest tools, methods, opportunities and challenges of the next millennium.
Have the chance to visit Power Generating Plants in the country; ascertaining for the purpose that technology, procedures and even best practices are presented thereby providing clearer understanding and learning of all processes as applied in the plants visited.
DAY 4 – November 30, 2023 (Thursday) - Physical
OPENING CEREMONIES, SIMULTANEOUS TECHNICAL SESSIONS, PLENARY TECHNICAL SESSIONS, PRACTITIONERS’ NIGHT
The start of the Convention Proper. Listen to our Guest Speaker who will provide some insights about the situation of the electrical industry and cap it off with a little excitement during the Practitioners’ Night.
DAY 5 – December 1, 2023 (Friday) – Physical
SIMULTANEOUS TECHNICAL SESSIONS, GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The second day of the convention proper. There will be a continuation of lectures regarding the latest trends in the electrical profession.
Attend the General Membership Meeting to know what is happening with the organization.
DAY 6 – December 2, 2023 (Saturday) – Physical
RME TECHNICAL SESSIONS, AAPER, SIMULTANEOUS TECHNICAL SESSIONS, PLENARY TECHNICAL SESSIONS, CLOSING CEREMONIES
This is a gathering of foreign and local engineers to discuss current practice, skills mobility and trends including the challenges faced by professionals in the industry.
Be encouraged to become a licensed Registered Master Electrician by being exposed to new trends and technologies in the industry. Continuation of the technical sessions focus on the latest trends in the EE profession. Awarding of awards of best chapter including exciting raffle prizes will be included in this day.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
There are also other activities included in the Convention such as: student’s forum, meetings of chapter auditors and treasurers, new officers’ orientation, sports and others.
